  • I am launching a new radio show in Spring on CKNW News 980. The show is one hour long and is based on OwnYourLife.ca

Hello there,

Keeping it simple is important when trying to get a point across. That being said I would like to point out that anyone with (or someone you know) a variable rate mortgage with a rate of Prime – 0.20% or higher should SERIOUSLY consider refinancing early. Penalties on variable mortgage are much lower than people realize. This month we are saving our existing clients just shy of $250,000 over the next 5 years from interest rate savings. Pretty cool if you ask me.

The past few months have been very busy. September crushed all our records and October isn’t looking as shabby as I thought it would be. We have been working really hard to release a new educational blog (ownyourlife.ca) for our clients, network and friends. The plan is to launch in January. We have collected a kick-butt group of authors providing free education tips to help you OwnYourLife. Focusing on Finance, food and fitness, our slogan is Don’t Try This at Home

I am launching a new radio show on March or April 1st on CKNW News 980. The show is one hour long each week and is based on the OwnYourLife blog. More details coming…

Hello there,

Refinancing early is simply a numbers game; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Recently while on a train with my wife and some good friends travelling from Ottawa to Montreal, I ran some numbers. We typically re-evaluate our client’s files about one to three times a year to see if there is anything we can do to service our clients better and save them money. Here’s what I discovered: If you have a variable mortgage at Prime – 0.20% or higher, we can save you TONS of money… READ MORE
